3rd International Academic Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences
October 8, 2019Series of lectures on international law
Milan, September – November 2019
I organised and led an accredited lecture series on international criminal law, acting as the principal speaker across the programme.
The series of lectures on international criminal law aims to raise awareness of the existence and work of the international bodies responsible for addressing genocide, war crimes, and other crimes against humanity.
In particular, the initiative addressed key issues in contemporary international justice, with particular focus on the International Criminal Court, the legacy of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, and the importance of addressing sexual and gender-based crimes.
